Razer Enki: Gaming chairs with extra sustainability presented

The gaming experts from Razer presented a few new products as part of their extensive presentation round. Besides headsets and other highlights, there was also an exciting piece of seating furniture. The Razer Enki should not only be able to offer good seating comfort, but also rely on sustainable materials on top of that.

The new seating family

With its Enki chairs, Razer is launching an entire family of new gaming chairs. So it’s hardly surprising that the new seating furniture specifically for gamers was also the focus of this year’s Razercon. The seat of the new gaming chairs measures 53 cm in width and has a 110-degree shoulder arc. The backrest can be adjusted by 152 degrees and has an integrated lumbar arch to support the lower back. With the help of these and other features, Razer pursues one goal: the sitter should be able to adopt as comfortable a sitting posture as possible in order to be able to gamble for many hours.

Since sustainability is also becoming increasingly important in the tech industry, the design and unveiling of the Razer Enki also focused on more than just seating comfort. Razer itself has given the chair an eco-friendly makeover by covering it with animal-friendly synthetic leather, for example. Razer also promises a long lifespan so that you can enjoy the gaming chair for a long time and it does not end up in the trash after a few months. Friends of sustainable products will certainly be happy about that.

But not only the comfort and the sustainability aspects seem to speak for the Razer Enki. On top of that, the gaming chair also looks really chic. This is not only due to the cool front design, which is reminiscent of a spaceship seat. The back is also more than impressive thanks to its modern carbon look. Razer recommends its new Enki series to gamers with a maximum height of 2.04 m and a body weight of up to 136 kg.

Prices and Availability

If you have a choice, you’re spoiled for choice. That also applies to the Razer Enki. The “regular” model of Razer’s gaming chair (our review) is already available now and comes in at an RP of 449.99 euros. Also available now is the Razer Enki X. Dessen UVP liegt bei 329,99 Euro. You can buy both models optionally in the colors green, black and quartz pink. If you like it a bit classier, you should take a look at the Enki Pro. These come with a noble Alcantara or leather cover. However, the premium models will not go on sale until 2022. We don’t yet know how expensive the premium versions will be.
