With the Realme 7 5G, a real challenge is coming to the highly competitive 5G smartphone market. The Indian company not only offers support for the latest mobile phone standard. Apart from 5G, the Realme 7 5G also wants to showcase other hardware highlights. In addition to an amazingly fast display, a quad camera and a long-lasting rechargeable battery should attract attention in the competition.
Again now price-performance winner ?
In one point the upcoming Realme 7 5G has already won once – and that is the prize. At least for now. But the new smartphone from India will probably be able to hold this throne for quite some time. After all, it will take a while before a manufacturer will bring a device with similar specs to market at such a price. At a price of just 229 euros, you get an impressive total package here. However, this offer is only limited and is considered a so-called launch price. The normal price of the smartphone is said to be 279 Euro, which is still very reasonable.
The technical specs
But the upcoming price highlight from Realme is not only cheap. Beyond that, at least according to the data sheet, there seems to be a lot slumbering under the hood. The Realme 7 5G is driven by a MediaTek Dimensity 800U. The processor is complemented by a Mali G57 GPU, which is supposed to provide graphics power. It is also supported by either 6 or 8 GB RAM. The built-in memory should be able to offer 128 GB of storage space. All in all, the smartphone comes along in a contemporary design. The nearly borderless 6.5 inch display with Full-HD+ resolution is one example.
But the really exciting thing about the display is the refresh rate. The Realme 7 5G is supposed to offer a proud 120 Hz. The positive picture is rounded off by good cameras. At the front, a selfie camera is hidden in the classic punch hole. It has a resolution of 16 MP. On the back is a quad camera. This consists of a main camera (48 MP), an ultra wide angle camera (8MP) and two sensors with 2 MP each. Furthermore, the smartphone has a classic fingerprint sensor.
Permanent battery
Smartphones with 120 Hz technology are often hindered by a weak battery. Realme avoids this problem from the outset. Thus it installs a 5,000 mAh battery in its inexpensive Smartphone for the European market. This battery should not only last a long time, but can also be charged quickly. According to Realme it takes just 65 minutes to charge it completely. For it a loading achievement of 30 Watts is to provide. The Realme 7 5G will be delivered with Android 10, which was adapted by Realme UI according to the manufacturer. Many will also be pleased to hear that this inexpensive smartphone is equipped with a classic AUX port as well as a microSD card reader.
