The innovative GT Neo 3 from realme, which we already introduced to you in March, will soon be launched in Europe as well. With the realme GT Neo 3 Naruto Edition, however, there is also a chic and strictly limited special edition for anime fans in the look of the iconic ninja.
realme GT Neo 3 Naruto Edition revealed
Following the DragonBall Z edition of its predecessor GT Neo 2, realme has once again set its eyes on anime fans and is launching, at least in the Asian region, the realme GT Neo 3 Naruto Edition, which can be found at Weibo vorgestellt wurde.
The design shows inspiration from the Ninja’s outfit and relies on an orange and matte black back with gray metal details around the camera module. The micro-pattern of the back is also said to provide a three-dimensional effect and is reminiscent of the protagonist’s headband.
The user interface also shows inspiration from Naruto. This includes new app icons, wallpapers, and a loading animation that is said to be based on the “Rasengan” nin-jutsu technique from the anime.
GT Neo 3 Naruto Edition charges at 150 watts
From a purely technical standpoint, the Naruto Edition is similar to the normal GT Neo 3 and thus, thanks to the UltraDart Charging Architecture (UDCA), offers a charging speed of a whopping 150 watts, which charges the battery to 50 percent full in just five minutes. However, the technology also focuses on safety and protecting the battery, as was already revealed in March.
The battery itself has a capacity of 4,500 mAh. In addition, there is the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 SoC, as well as a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2,412 x 1,080 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz.
The special edition also inherits the triple camera including 50MP main camera, 8MP ultra-wide lens and 2MP macro camera, as well as the 16-megapixel front-facing camera from the regular GT Neo 3, along with 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 flash storage.
Price and availability
The only downer for Naruto fans is that the realme GT Neo 3 Naruto Edition is initially available exclusively on the Chinese market and is limited to 5,000 units. There, the special edition, including a protective case and 10,000 mAh powerbank in a matching look, will cost 2,799 yuan, which is just under 386 euros.
At least the normal GT Neo 3 should also be available on the German market “soon”. However, a concrete date and prices are still pending.
