ROIDMI EVE CC: Suction and mopping robot with suction station launches

With the ROIDMI EVE CC, a compact and powerful vacuuming and mopping robot goes on sale with a deep discount. It is characterized by a strong cleaning performance and is aimed primarily at smaller apartments and households.

The ROIDMI EVE CC in detail

Households where space is at a premium are expected to benefit from the new compact ROIDMI EVE CC vacuuming and mopping robot, which itself takes up little space and weighs less than 3 kg.

Despite the compact dimensions, the little helper is supposed to display a convincing cleaning performance. When it comes to vacuuming, the robot uses a rubber brush that also gets to grips with hair and dust that is deeply embedded in carpets with a suction power of 4,000 Pa.

With the help of a side brush, the EVE CC also picks up dust and dirt in hard-to-reach corners. But that’s not all: after sweeping and vacuuming, it also mops the floors. A 260 ml dust container and a 290 ml water container are used for this purpose.

When the work is done, the ROIDMI EVE CC also returns automatically to the suction station included in the scope of delivery, which can hold a total of 2.5 liters of dust, for emptying. This is supposed to last up to 60 days until the dust container needs to be emptied.

At the same time, the EVE CC’s dimensions of 325 mm in diameter and 97 mm in height are only half the size of most other robot vacuum cleaners, making it even easier to reach hard-to-reach places. The base station also turns out to be much more compact than most counterparts, measuring 275 mm x 199 mm x 293 mm (length x width x height).

Long suction power; intelligent navigation

Inside the ROIDMI EVE CC is a 3,200 mAh battery that is said to provide up to 180 minutes of runtime before automatically returning to the station. That’s enough for an area of up to 150 square meters, according to the manufacturer.

Navigation is by laser and allows for quick mapping including flexible obstacle avoidance. In doing so, the vacuuming and mopping robot easily overcomes heels up to 17 mm high and features anti-fall detection when approaching stairs and steps.

It is conveniently operated via smartphone or tablet using the ROIDMI/Mijia app. This also makes it possible, for example, to control the EVE CC while on the move, to create your own cleaning schedules or restricted areas within the home. In addition, an exact map of the home can be created on the app side within a few minutes.
