Samsung The Premier LSP9T: Projector with HDR10+ announced

Samsung has announced the new beamer series “The Premier” at the online event “Life Unstoppable”. Part of this series is also the LSP9T, the first beamer with HDR10+ support.

The ultra-short distance projector The Premier LSP9T offers a 4K resolution and with a wall distance of 11 centimeters, already a screen diagonal of 100 inches – a maximum of 130 inches is possible.

Support for the dynamic HDR format HDR10+, where studios no longer need to define HDR settings for the entire film, but can do so for each scene or even each image individually, enables high contrast. This is made possible by the triple laser technology with up to 2,800 ANSI lumens. In addition, the Filmmaker Mode is supported, which guarantees that the film is displayed exactly as the director intended.

Together with the integrated woofer and “Acoustic Beam Surround”-Sound, a cinema experience in your own living room should be possible.

The operating system used is Tizen, developed by Samsung, which is also used on the manufacturer’s TVs. Numerous apps are available, including Netflix, Amazon Video, YouTube and many more. It is also possible to mirror your own smartphone content.

The fabric cover makes The Premier LSP9T look very elegant and fits well into modern living rooms.

Samsung has not yet commented on the price, but it should be in the mid-five-digit range. The projector should be available before the end of this year.
