Skullcandy presents new Active Collection with and without ANC

Skullcandy already offers a broad portfolio of headphones, including the bass-heavy Crusher ANC 2 (our test). Now the manufacturer is expanding its range with three new wireless headphones, which were unveiled today. Push Play Active, Push ANC Active and Sesh ANC Active. These models combine advanced features with different price points and are specially designed for outdoor adventures and sporting activities.

Push Play Active

The Push Play Active is ideal for sporting activities. With an ergonomic earhook design, they ensure a secure fit, even during intense movement. Although these headphones do not offer active noise cancellation (ANC), they impress with their solid sound quality and robustness.

They are IP55-certified, which makes them resistant to sweat and dust. The Stay-Aware mode makes it possible to hear ambient noise, which provides additional safety during outdoor activities.

The battery life is up to 34 hours, with the headphones themselves lasting 10 hours. Bluetooth multipoint is also supported.

Push ANC Active

The Skullcandy Push ANC Active offer the same benefits as the Push Play Active, but with the addition of active noise cancellation. This makes them an excellent choice for users who want to minimize ambient noise.

The IP67 certification provides even better protection against water and dust. The battery life is up to 37 hours with ANC and 7 hours per charge, which is supported by a quick charge function that provides two hours of playback time in 10 minutes. Without active noise canceling, up to 58 hours of runtime are possible.

The customizable Stay-Aware mode makes it possible to flexibly adjust the level of ambient noise. There is also a customizable sound and four microphones that also feature noise cancellation.

Sesh ANC Active

The Skullcandy Sesh ANC Active are a compact alternative to the Push ANC Active, without ear hooks. They rely on pressure in the ear for a secure fit and also offer ANC. The battery life is up to 28 hours with ANC and 48 hours without ANC.

These headphones are also IP67-certified and feature multipoint and equalizer support, as well as customizable sound.

Conclusion

The Push ANC Active and Sesh ANC Active with ANC are perfect for users who want to minimize their ambient noise, while the Push Play Active offer a more affordable option without ANC. Prices start at around 60 USD for the Push Play Active, 100 USD for the Push ANC Active and 90 USD for the Sesh ANC Active. Availability in Germany is currently still unclear.
