SPC Gear GK630K Tournament Pudding Edition: Noble TKL keyboards

SPC Gear, the gaming label of the European manufacturer SilentiumPC, has introduced several keyboards with the small TKL layout with the new GK630K Tournament Pudding Edition, which are offered in white and black. The multi-color RGB lighting makes the installed Pudding keycaps stand out especially well.

Offered in addition to the classic black color, the TKL keyboard also comes in white, which was inspired by Onyx. The configurable RGB LEDs make the keyboard stand out quite a bit thanks to the pudding keycaps and are especially great in dark environments.

The GK630K Tournament Pudding Edition keycaps feature PBT keycaps manufactured using Double Injection technology. In this process, two color variants of the material are injected into the mold one after the other to achieve a unique two-tone finish and high abrasion resistance.

The high rigidity ensures durability and protects against unwanted damage. Even after long use, the caps retain their unique character and do not show unsightly stains.

The SPC Gear GK630K is designed for gamers who value functionality, reliability, comfort and an attractive look. It comes without a numeric keypad in a TKL layout and is o ideal for desktops with limited space. Its compact size also makes it easier to transport.

Three different Kailh switches

The manufacturer offers a choice of three different extra-durable Kalih switches on the SPC Gear GK630K Tournament Pudding Edition, allowing you to customize the keyboard’s responsiveness to your preferences.

With the Kailh Red mechanical switches, all it takes is a little pressure to activate the switch, which is perfect for competitive online games like FPS or Battle Royale shooters. Thanks to their extremely quiet operation, the Kailh Red switches are less audible.

The Kailh Brown mechanical switches, on the other hand, feature balanced operation, which makes them perfect for both gaming and everyday use. A big advantage in gaming is the short travel to activate the buttons. In addition, the Kailh Brown switches are quiet and tactile.

Frequent typists will be pleased with the Kailh Blue Switches. Their loud, characteristic click (“clicky”) provide clear feedback of a keystroke. Each keystroke is accompanied by a high-frequency click and a noticeable key bounce. The switch is activated at half-press, providing a high level of comfort for both gaming and typing.

Various RGB backlighting

Of course, the SPC Gear GK630K cannot be without extensive RGB lighting. The 18 pre-installed lighting effects offer endless configuration possibilities: From a fixed, single-color effect to changing rainbow colors to a backlight that reacts to a specific keystroke. Each of the effects can additionally be configured via the software.

The GK630K Tournament Pudding Edition keyboards are equipped with a detachable USB cable, which not only simplifies transportation, but also offers the option of replacing the cable with a longer one, for example. Thanks to the special channels on the bottom, it is possible to arrange the cable in one of three positions. Furthermore, thanks to the two-stage feet, it is possible to choose between three different height positions. Thus, the alignment of the keyboard can be adjusted according to one’s preferences.
