Peripherals manufacturer Mad Catz has unveiled a few new products at CES 2022 that come in cryptic names typical of the manufacturer. The new products include the S.T.R.I.K.E. 6 gaming keyboard, the P.I.L.O.T. gaming headset series, the S.U.R.F. RGB mouse pad, the G.Y.R.A. gaming chair, the C.A.T. 9 game controller and a new Fight Sick – the T.E. 3.
Mad Catz S.T.R.I.K.E. 6 Gaming Keyboard
The S.T.R.I.K.E. 6 mechanical keyboard is a space-saving keyboard in a 60 percent form factor that also offers tremendous customization and functionality. Designed for gamers, Mad Catz’s mechanical switches provide precise linear actuation and last up to 80 million keystrokes.
They can be quickly and easily swapped out on the fly to customize the feel to your preferences. The S.T.R.I.K.E. 6 also features powerful RGB lighting with 26 RGB effects including sound effect synchronization.
P.I.L.O.T. 5 and P.I.L.O.T. 3
Also new to the Mad Catz CES 2022 lineup are the two Mad Catz P.I.L.O.T. 5 and P.I.L.O.T. 3 gaming headsets, both of which are said to be equally lightweight as they are comfortable and sonically compelling. The large, oval-shaped ear pads reduce uncomfortable pressure on the ears and provide better suppression of ambient noise. The headband and ear pads are made of memory foam and wrapped in ultra-soft protein leather for added comfort.
Both headsets rely on dynamic 50mm drivers with sealed chambers to deliver compelling sound. The P.I.L.O.T. 5 also features 7.1 virtual surround sound, which provides an incredible spatial feel and gives gamers the advantage of hearing directional movement.
Mad Catz S.U.R.F. RGB Mouse Pad
The S.U.R.F. RGB mouse pad is made of a soft and stain-resistant fabric that allows for precise and fast mouse movements. Surrounding the mouse pad is a large RGB strip that can display 16.8 million colors and render them with seven dynamic lighting effects.
Mad Catz G.Y.R.A Gaming Chair

With the G.Y.R.A, Mad Catz now has a gaming chair on offer. The automatically adjustable lumbar support ensures an upright, comfortable and ergonomic posture, while the 4-way adjustable armrests (4D armrests) ensure a comfortable position.
Thanks to dense and high-quality cold foam, the G.Y.R.A. is extremely durable. This is to ensure that the gaming chair maintains its shape in the long run.
C.A.T. 9 Controller
The C.A.T. 9 controller is compatible with Android, iPhone, iPad, PC and Nintendo Switch. It connects quickly and easily via Bluetooth and features a 6-axis motion sensor, dual vibration effect, turbo mode, and also offers macro buttons that can be programmed directly on the controller. Design-wise, the controller relies on a transparent surface that comes with additional RGB lighting.
Mad Catz T.E. 3 Fight Stick
For all fighting game fans, Mad Catz also has the T.E. 3 Fight Stick up its sleeve. The T.E. 3 is equipped with a shoulder strap and a convenient storage option for easy transportation. The classic Sanwa Denshi buttons provide an authentic arcade experience with the legendary quality and durability of Sanwa components.
Multi-platform connectivity makes the Fight Stick compatible with Xbox, PlayStation 4 and 5 via Bridge and PC. It features a PlayStation touchpad and share buttons for better console integration and offers the ability to save macros. There are also two turbo modes.
