Teamgroup SIREN GD240E: Updated AiO ARGB CPU cooling and M200 Portable SSD

Two new products from manufacturer Teamgroup await you in December 2021, starting with an updated version of the SIREN GD240E AiO water cooling with ARGB lighting that fully supports 12th generation Intel processors and Z690 motherboards thanks to INTEL LGA 1700 compatibility. A portable SSD, the M200, will follow at the end of the year.

Teamgroup SIREN GD240E: Now also for Intel Alder Lake

Owners or prospective buyers of a 12th generation Intel processor (Alder Lake) can rejoice. The newly upgraded SIREN GD240E AIO ARGB CPU liquid cooler not only supports various older Intel and AMD sockets, but also offers a mounting kit for the latest INTEL LGA 1700 socket.

The specially selected base plate, support screws and mounting brackets ensure that the water block fits snugly against the processor. The full and even contact between the surfaces supports rapid heat transfer to the high-density Jet-Fin heatsink, significantly increases the heat dissipation area, and quickly dissipates heat away from the CPU.

Low wear, high efficiency

To optimize efficiency and heat transfer path, the SIREN GD240E is equipped with an ultra-fast 4000 RPM water pump installed on the cooler to reduce CPU wear and noise caused by water pump vibration.

Thanks to these features, the system offers 1.5 times the cooling performance of typical AiO liquid cooling systems, according to the manufacturer, while providing the best protection for 12th-generation Intel processors.

This is joined by the customizable RGB lighting of the Teamgroup SIREN GD240E fans, which support all popular motherboard lighting software. The radiator comes in at 276 mm x 120 mm x 27 mm, while the water cooling system is offered in white and black.

Teamgroup M200 SSD

We introduced the versatile Teamgroup M200 SSD to you back in November. In the meantime, the release date is at least roughly set: starting at the end of December 2021, the portable SSD will be released, featuring a USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 interface that delivers lightning-fast speeds of 2,000 MB/s.

USB Type A and Type C OTG features are also on board. In addition, the M200 supports a variety of platforms, including tablets, smartphones, and PlayStation and Xbox consoles. With a total weight of just 83 grams and a maximum capacity of 8TB, the M200 Portable SSD is lightweight and portable, giving you easy access to high drive speeds and massive storage anytime.

Pricing and Availability

The Teamgroup SIREN GD240E will be available in early December 2021. The manufacturer’s MSRP is $109.99. The M200 SSD will follow at the end of the year. It starts at an MSRP of 309.99 US dollars for the model with 2 TB of storage. 4 TB are at 759.99 US dollars, while the 8 TB variant appears at the beginning of the new year. Here, the price will be $1,899.99.
