Teufel Cinebar 11 gets an update

If you take a look at the relevant bargain portals, you will quickly notice that there are more and more offers for high-quality and especially large TV sets. But if the picture is convincing, the sound should not take a back seat either. If you don’t fancy huge speakers, the best thing to do is to go for a soundbar. The small sound solutions often offer a rich sound despite their comparatively small size. One of the most popular soundbars comes from Teufel.

The Cinebar 11 from the Berlin sound experts is now getting a new edition that has it all. Optionally, the updated soundbar is to come along as a 2.1 or 4.1 setup. While the soundbar itself already has a strong 150 watts of power, it also gets support from a subwoofer with a proud 60 watts. There is also a lot of technology on board. Besides Dolby Digital and Dolby Pro Logic II support, DTS is also no problem. In addition to two tweeters, six reliable midrange drivers should also provide a great sound.

Armed for all tasks

A look at the technical details quickly makes it clear that the new Cinebar 11 can handle pretty much any source device. Thus, the soundbar not only has Bluetooth 5.0 incl. aptX on board. On top of that, HDMI (incl. ARC) ensures that only one remote control will be needed, provided the TV is suitable. Furthermore, the smart soundbar also offers an optical input in addition to a classic 3.5 mm jack input.

The 4.1 set comes with two additional satellites

The 4K passthrough should also be particularly practical for gamers and home theater enthusiasts. This ensures that you can “pass through” high-quality content with Dolby Vision or other HDR without any losses. Although HDMI ARC theoretically makes it possible to control the device with the TV remote, Teufel naturally also offers other control options here. In addition to the included remote control, you can also use the touch panel on the soundbar itself.

Price and availability

Depending on the version, the prices of the new edition also differ, of course. For example, Teufel charges an MSRP of 399.99 euros for the 2.1 set of the Cinebar 11. If you prefer the 4.1 variant, you have to pay 699.99 Euros. In addition to the soundbar and subwoofer, the 4.1 version also includes two satellites that each offer 35 watts of power.
