Creative Pebble Pro: Chic 2.0 sound system with RGB lighting

Creative is relaunching its popular Pebble 2.0 sound system. The Creative Pebble Pro rely on the iconic design of the series and combine it with RGB lighting and rich sound.

Creative Pebble Pro in detail

The compact and high-quality Creative Pebble speakers are extremely popular. In our test in March 2018, the 2.0 sound system convinced us. Now, the manufacturer is relaunching the speakers as the Creative Pebble Pro and improving them in all areas.

The round, unique design has remained the same, but a new addition is RGB lighting, which is elegantly integrated at the bottom of each speaker. You can choose between different colors via the volume control and set three light effects (Cycle, Pulse and Solo).

Sound-wise, a lot has changed as well. With revised full-range speakers and digital amplifiers with integrated audio processing, which replace the analog amplifiers of the previous models, one wants to realize an even richer and clearer sound. Up to 3.5 times more bass than the predecessor Pebble V3 is said to be offered.

The Pebble Pro offer a peak power of 20 watts in USB mode, which can be further increased with the optional 30-watt PD adapter. Up to 30 W RMS and 60 watts at peak are then possible.

Improved sound and more connectivity

Adding to this, the Creative Pebble Pro features two proprietary audio technologies. BassFlex delivers extended low-end and richer bass at all volumes without the need for a subwoofer.

Clear Dialog, on the other hand, improves voice reproduction so that it sounds more natural and is easy to understand. This mode is especially suitable for movies or dialog-heavy games.

The speakers connect via USB Type-C, 3.5 mm jack, and even wirelessly via Bluetooth 5.3. Connections for headphones and microphones are also offered, while the driver is aligned at a 45-degree angle to ensure optimal positioning of the sound.

The 1.8-meter cable that connects both speakers offers more positioning flexibility, while the USB-C cable for connecting to the PC has now grown to 1.5 meters.
