TP Link: New Smart Home Products Introduced

At the CES TP-Link presented the new Kasa-Smart products.

Video Doorbell KD100

The presented video doorbell should deliver sharp images of people standing in front of the door during the day as well as at night. It is equipped with a 2K HD screen with HDR and several infrared LEDs for this purpose. Communication with the ringers is also possible. For this purpose loudspeakers with noise and echo suppression are available. Furthermore the device has a face recognition.

Outdoor Security Camera KC300

The wireless, battery-powered security camera is weatherproof and offers 1080p resolution. It is also equipped with two-way audio and a night vision function. It is controlled by a smartphone – which can also be used to watch live videos. Siren noises and noises intended to simulate the presence of the user can be configured individually. The camera is supplied in a package with a hub that is intended to allow integration into the home network. Additional cameras can be integrated into the hub.

The KC100, like the KC300, offers 1080p resolution, night vision, two-way audio and wide-angle video. In addition, there are other options such as a motion alarm or compatibility with Amazon’s language assistant Alexa and Google’s language assistant.

Light Switch HS230

The presented light switch HS230 is also compatible with the mentioned language assistants. Music can also be played via the integrated loudspeakers. Weather information can also be displayed. It can also be used as an intercom system. The light switches are also equipped with a motion sensor and a night light.
