VAVA presents ALR Projector Screen Pro for the 4K ultra-short distance projector

VAVA’s unveiled ALR Projector Screen Pro can further enhance the image quality of the iF DESIGN AWARD-winning VA-LT002 4K ultra-short-throw laser projector. The projector screen is said to reliably filter out ambient light.

Surface absorbs up to 92 percent of ambient light

The new VAVA ALR Projector Screen Pro is said to noticeably improve home theater fun in 4K UHD quality. Thus, the screen comes to an image diagonal of 100 inches (254 centimeters) and represents more than a screen. A special microstructure optimizes the display. Extra sharp contrasts and vivid colors even in daylight are supposed to come into their own even better, while up to 92 percent of the ambient light is absorbed.

The corresponding VA-LT002 4K ultra-short distance laser projector features a higher viewing angle of up to 160° compared to classic LCD or LED screens.

Using ALR (“Ambient Light Rejection”) technology, the VAVA ALR Projector-Screen Pro with a gain of 0.6 is perfect for places where blackout is not always possible – this includes living rooms as well as conference rooms. At the same time, the frame is particularly narrow at 1.016 centimeters.

VAVA VA-LT002 as a companion

The laser projector is the ideal companion to the ALR Protector Screen Pro. It impresses with a low throw ratio of 0.233 offers impressive 4K UHD quality with HDR-10 support even at short distances. Even at a distance of less than 20 centimeters, a huge image diagonal of 70 inches (177.8 centimeters) is thus achieved. At a greater distance (from about 30 centimeters), the projector even reaches a gigantic 150 inches (381 centimeters).

It has a brightness of 2,500 ANSI lumens and uses ALPD 3.0 projection technology, which is also used in cinemas. An Android-based operating system is used, while three HDMI inputs (including ARC), a USB port, Bluetooth 4.1 and online connectivity via Ethernet or WLAN are offered. In terms of acoustics, the ultra-short-throw laser projector relies on a sound system from Harman/Kardon with DTS and Dolby support, which can also be controlled as a Bluetooth-only speaker.

Both devices from VAVA are available now online and at select retailers. The ALR Projector Screen Pro (VA-LTS005) is offered at an MSRP of 699.00 euros. The VAVA VA-LT002 is priced at an MSRP of 2,999.00 Euro.
