The Vero series from Acer is usually associated with sustainable notebooks like the Aspire Vero AV14 (our review). With the Acer Vero PL3510ATV, the manufacturer has now introduced a likewise sustainable laser projector, which is particularly sustainable, durable and even quite bright with 4,800 lumens.
Acer Vero PL3510ATV launches as a sustainable laser projector
As a laser projector, the Acer Vero PL3510ATV is already inherently more economical than an ordinary projector that relies on lamp technology. According to the manufacturer, this should save up to 48 percent electricity, while the brightness loss is up to eight times lower than beamers with lamps.
The laser projector offers a brightness of 4,800 ANSI lumens and resolves in Fill HD with 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. The contrast ratio is said to be 50,000:1, which are both excellent values. This should also ensure recognizability in bright environments.
Thanks to laser phosphor technology, accurate color reproduction is supposed to be made possible, while the illuminants are supposed to last up to 30,000 operating hours. In conjunction with the housing of the Acer Vero PL3510ATV, which is made of 50 percent recycled plastic, they claim to have created a particularly sustainable projector.
Even an IPX5 certification is offered so that the projector is protected against dust and splash water and can also be used at a summer garden party. Acer also integrates 10 watt speakers. 2D keystone and 4-corner correction for the image is also offered.
Chromecast compatibility is realized via the integrated dongle, which supports Android TV 3. In addition, videos and pictures can be displayed on the Acer Vero PL3510ATV directly from compatible apps via smartphone.

Price and Availability
The sustainable laser projector Acer Vero PL3510ATV is expected to make its way to retailers in September 2023, with a recommended retail price of €1,399.
