Stylish design in black, high compatibility thanks to 3.5 mm jack plug. The ROCCAT NOZ does without RGB LED lighting and limits itself to the essentials: good sound! Thanks to its low weight, the headset is ideal for on the go – even as stereo headphones without the detachable microphone.

Packaging & Scope of Delivery
The ROCCAT NOZ is packed in a black cardboard box, which contains the gaming headset and the documentation as well as a Y-adapter cable from a 4-pin 3.5 mm jack to a 3-pin jack plug for audio and microphone.
Design & Workmanship
The workmanship of the ROCCAT NOZ is good and despite the low weight the headset makes a stable impression. The 2.45 meter long cable is braided for increased stability, making it very resistant to damage on the go. The long cable offers high flexibility and can be connected to most mobile devices via a 4-pin 3.5 mm jack plug.
The matt black of the headset is slightly accentuated by accents with a black sheen. The name of the headset is also discreetly applied to the outer shell of the ear. The padding on the headband and the ear cups is covered with a fabric cover that feels very soft.
The microphone is detachable and connects to the left earpiece of the headset. So if you just want to listen to music, you won’t be disturbed by the microphone.
Only the headband is made of metal to provide some stability. Otherwise, the headset is mainly made of plastic, which keeps the weight down.
Wearing Comfort
The wearing comfort is high and the headset also sits firmly on the head during sports. Of course this also depends on the individual head shape, but I would estimate that the ROCCAT NOZ is well suited for music enthusiasts with a smaller head.
Sound
The lack of noise suppression, or noise cancelling in New German, is unfortunately noticeable from time to time when the disco pump plays around with the children’s weights. The sound itself is good and full. In comparison to the ROCCAT Khan AIMO, which I also recently tested, there is of course a lack of sound quality, but comparing a stereo headset with a 7.1 headset is of course Quark.
The microphone is well prepared for gaming and telephoning on the go. However, it is a bit noisy. Here you can listen to the recording quality yourself:
Conclusion
Overall, the ROCCAT NOZ offers high wearing comfort due to its low weight and pleasant padding. In addition, it boasts a good sound for its price class and offers a very simple design that can be worn outside the gaming corner with a clear conscience. Nevertheless, it just misses our Gold Award because of the microphone noise and has to settle for silver.
