Instagram Story Downloader for Android and iOS

Today, there are many different apps available for Android and iOS that allow you to download Instagram stories in no time. One of the most popular is Story Saver. Contributing to the app’s popularity, besides its ease of use, is the fact that it’s free. Once you’ve downloaded it, you’ll need to sign into the app with your Instagram credentials. That, in turn, is the biggest catch: The whole process is not privacy-sensitive. However, if you don’t care about that, you can download all Stories after logging in.

In Story Saver, you will see all the profiles that you are following. All you have to do here is click on the profile you want and then click on the story you want. For the Instagram story download, a download icon is available directly in the story. After downloading, it will be saved on your device. Best of all, the Instagram Story download is anonymous – no one will find out that you saved it. However, keep in mind that you can only use it for private purposes and you can’t redistribute it.

However, the Story Saver is only available on Android. Those using an iPhone will have to resort to less established apps. There are again numerous options to choose from here, but they are usually less user-friendly. Mostly, links to Stories have to be copied and pasted here to be able to achieve a download. Furthermore, the available iOS apps are usually overloaded with ads, which again makes it difficult to use.

In addition, there is the option to download Instagram stories directly in the browser. This works completely without registration and usually even without installing a program. However, there is a catch here as well: Downloading in the browser only works for public profiles.
