Geekbuying: Save on Raspberry Pi and Robot Vacuum Cleaner!

Who says that online shopping always has to take place on Amazon? Technology fans know that there are inexpensive alternatives where you can really save money. The best example is Geekbuying. In the extensive range of the online store, you can currently secure Raspberry Pis and a practical household helper at a discounted price.

Geekbuying: Raspberry Pi 4 Model B (4 and 8 GB)

Can you still remember the hype of the classic consoles in mini format? Nintendo in particular really cannibalized this a few years ago with devices like the Mini SNES or the Mini NES. However, the hype quickly died down again. This could be due to the steadily growing market of Raspberry Pis, among other things. With the help of the practical mini PCs, you can easily build such a mini console yourself. And not only at a significantly lower price. On top of that, you can fit far more games than Nintendo, for example, managed on its miniature games. But the mini PCs offer even more possibilities, far from great gaming fun. With the Raspberry Pi 4 Model B, you get a real desktop PC experience for the first time. This should please all those who don’t want to put a large-sized computer on their desk.

Especially for tasks like programming, web surfing or office, this mini PC is perfectly suited. At the same time, it consumes pleasingly little power, which makes for very high energy efficiency. Is that at the expense of performance? Not at all! You can even use two monitors with this little jack-of-all-trades. And that with 4K resolution, too! The core is a quad-core CPU (BCM2711 64-bit ARM) with 1.5 GHz. This is supported by either 4 or 8 GB of RAM. Sufficient connectivity is provided by 2x USB 2.0, 2x USB 3.0, Gigabit Ethernet WiFi (2.4 and 5.0 GHz), Bluetooth 5.0, dual Micro HDMI as well as 2-lane MIPI DSI and CSI display and camera ports. The system also gets a reliable and stable power supply via USB-C.

Geekbuying: Uwant U200

The manufacturer Uwant, which is still rather unknown in this country, is currently preparing to mix up the market of smart household helpers as a real price-performance king. The best example is the Uwant U200, a robot vacuum cleaner with a suction power of 5,000 Pascal. The dual brush system ensures that the vacuum cleaner performs well on both hard and carpeted floors. On top of that, it scores with an amazing staying power thanks to its 5,200 mAh battery. A real highlight is the robot’s mopping function. Unlike many other manufacturers, Uwant does not use a rigid wiping plate. Instead, two rotating wiping pads are used. These not only rotate during the wiping process, but also exert pressure on the floor. As a result, even stubborn stains are reliably removed. Precise orientation and mapping are provided by the total of 28 high-performance sensors located on the robot vacuum cleaner.

The Uwant U200 doesn’t come with a simple charging station. Instead, the manufacturer ships its smart household helper with a handy all-in-one station. Here, the round wiping pads are cleaned at regular intervals to ensure the best possible wiping results. After the cleaning cycle is complete, 60-degree hot water is used to prevent the formation of bacteria. The wiping pads are then dried with the help of hot air. So you no longer have to worry about odors forming. In addition, the collected dust and other dirt is vacuumed in the base. You only have to empty the vacuum cleaner bag about once every two months. The 4-liter water tank also ensures a correspondingly high level of comfort. This is usually enough for a week of continuous cleaning. Speaking of ease of use. On top of that, the Uwant U200 offers the option of app operation or can be controlled via voice control (Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant).
