RT6 tablet: Rugged and with a powerful battery

The RT6 tablet is robustly built and equipped with a strikingly strong battery. Oukitel has given it a 20,000 mAh model that is supposed to ensure uninterrupted use even in demanding situations – even without a tangible power supply. The manufacturer specifies a standby time of 2,250 hours, and 15 hours should be possible even during video playback and gaming

The tablet is not only suitable for outdoor use thanks to its enormous battery life. It is also extremely robust, which is proven by various certifications. Besides IP68 and IP69K, it also has the US military certification MIL-STD-810H. Thus, the tablet can be expected to withstand heavy drops as well as intensive contact with water or dirt. It should also be able to withstand extreme temperatures without any problems

The RT6 is equipped with a 10.1-inch Full HD display that offers a brightness of 400 nits. It is powered by the MediaTek MT8788 processor, which is supported by eight GB of RAM. In addition, there is an internal storage of 256 GB. Both the internal storage and the working memory can be expanded if necessary. The maximums are fourteen GB and one TB, respectively

Smartphone WP28: Light, but strong

The WP28 smartphone, which is also available at a particularly low price, is also a robust outdoor device that can withstand a lot despite its low weight of only 369 grams and dimensions of 174.2 x 82.3 x 17.1 mm. It has the same certifications as the RT6 and is accordingly waterproof, drop-proof and temperature-resistant. It is equipped with an octa-core processor that can access eight GB of RAM. The RAM of the WP28 can be expanded to 15 GB. The phone is also equipped with an internal memory of 256 GB, which can be expanded to one TB

The smartphone also boasts a 6.52-inch HD display, which is made of Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It is thus largely protected against cracks and crazing – even if it is dropped. Rounding out the WP28’s features are a 48 MP main camera, a five MP front-facing camera, and a 10,600 mAh battery

The RT6 tablet is then available for $296 (alternatively on Amazon), while the WP28 smartphone costs $167.20 (alternatively on Amazon). The tablet is available in orange and black color variants.
