Acer officially announced the new Acer Aspire S27 all-in-one PC in mid-December 2022. Now they announce the launch of the premium model, which comes with 12th-generation Intel Core processors and up to 32 GB of RAM.
The Acer Aspire S27 in detail
The Acer Aspire S27 all-in-one PC relies on a space-saving and at the same time high-quality design, and comes with a beast of a feature set. The centerpiece of the whole thing is the 27-inch WQHD monitor, whose IPS panel resolves with 2,560 x 1,440 pixels and can be tilted between -5 degrees and 25 degrees. It offers a screen-to-body ratio of 98.1 percent and is encased in a case made of high-quality aluminum.
Under the hood is a 12th generation Intel Core processor, which is supported by up to 32 gigabytes of Dual Chanel DDR4 working memory. The Intel Iris Xe graphics solution is used for the internal graphics calculation. Acer doesn’t make any compromises in terms of connectivity either and equips the Aspire S27 with blazing fast Wi-Fi 6E as well as Bluetooth 5.0.
Via a magnetic mount, the all-in-one PC can accommodate two different webcams with either 2 mega pixels (1080p) and privacy shutter or 5 mega pixels (1440p) and integrated ring light, if desired. There is also a Display Light Bar, which skilfully illuminates the desk space in a space-saving way.
Acer EyeSense protects privacy
The Acer Aspire S27 also relies on integrated dual speakers with DTS Audio. In addition to an HDMI output for expanding to a second display, the S27 offers a USB-C port (3.2 Gen 2) and two USB-A ports (1x 3.2 Gen 2 + 1x USB 3.2 Gen 1).
Smart security in the workplace is provided by the new Acer EyeSense facial recognition software:
“The technology can, for example, create an avatar of the user if they do not want to show their own face in a video meeting. In addition, Acer EyeSense detects when users move away from the computer and automatically turns off the microphone and camera,” Acer says. This is meant to protect privacy while helping to save power. In addition, the AiO PC integrates a fingerprint scanner for biometric unlocking.

Price and availability
The Acer Aspire S27 (S27-1755) all-in-one PC is now available in stores at a recommended retail price starting at 1,199 euros.
