Acer expands its gaming monitor portfolio

Acer has introduced no less than three new monitors that are designed to be tailored to gaming needs. In addition to the two powerful Predator models XB253Q and Predator X34 GS, the manufacturer has also thought of gaming beginners with the Nitro series.

Something for everyone

Fortunately, Acer has something for every gamer with its new monitor lineup. If you’re looking for a high refresh rate for smooth gameplay, you’ll find it in the Predator XB253Q, for example. The 24.5-inch gaming monitor resolves in Full HD and offers an impressive refresh rate of 280 hertz. In combination with its reaction time of 1 ms, it should be able to convince even in action-packed first person shooters. Thanks to its compatibility with G-Sync, you are also guaranteed to be well prepared for the future. The gaming monitor also offers an exciting visual feature. On the front of the monitor there is a light strip that can be synchronized with the game. Ambilight sends its regards.

If the almost 25 inches are not enough, you might want to take a look at the Predator X34 GS. Here Acer promises an impressive gaming immersion where the player is sucked directly into the action. Among other things, the 1900R curvature of the curved monitor should make it possible. The large 34 inch gaming monitor has 3,440 x 1,440 pixels. The X34 GS should provide a razor-sharp picture. G-Sync support and 180 Hertz round off the positive overall picture.

We would like to conclude the presentation of new gaming monitors with a new entry-level model from Acer. With the Nitro monitors, the manufacturer would like to enable the entry into the professional business according to their own statements. The XV272U KV comes with a screen diagonal of 27 inches and a resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels. Thanks to a refresh rate of 170 Hertz, a fun gaming experience should not only be possible for beginners, but also for advanced users. The protection against damaging blue light is probably especially pleasing. The XV272U KV has a display which is certified by TÜV Rheinland Eyesafe. So you can use the new Nitro monitor perfectly for your home office.

The design of the Nitro XV272U KV is a little less excited than the Predator series.

Prices and availability

For the Predator XB253Q Acer calls a UVP starting from 449 euro. The Gaming Monitor is to be launched in the first quarter of the coming year. The Curved monitor Predator X34 GS is to come however still in December this yearly into our stores. Here Acer indicates a UVP starting from 1.099 euro. With the Nitro XV272U KV one will receive as average Gamer probably the best value for money. The 27 inch gaming monitor comes to a UVP starting from 499 euro in the first quarter 2021 into the German trade.
