AOC CQ32G1 – New Flagship Convinces with 144 Hz and WQHD

AOC has added a new flagship with WQHD resolution (2,560 x 1,440 pixels) to its gaming monitor series after several Full HD models. The 31.5-inch monitor with curved VA panel should also convince players with its 144 Hz refresh rate and AMD FreeSync support. The AMD feature is supported in the frequency range from 48 Hz to 144 Hz and, according to the official website , should also offer LFC (Low Framerate Compensation).

The response time specified as 1 ms is the Moving-Picture Response Time (MPRT), which is an indicator of motion blur. The usually specified pixel transition time (Grey-to-Grey) is 4 ms. The maximum brightness of the AOC CQ32G1 is 300 cd/m² and the contrast ratio is 3,000:1. External devices are connected via HDMI 2.0, HDMI 1.4 and DisplayPort 1.2. The monitor does not offer a USB connection, just like a pivot mode and height adjustment.

The monitor is available “from February 2019” for a recommended retail price of 429 euros.
