AVM releases FRITZ!Smart Gateway with Zigbee and DECT ULE

AVM is expanding its own smart home portfolio with a new gateway that supports Zigbee for the first time in addition to DECT ULE. Thus, the new FRITZ!Smart Gateway enables completely new possibilities, especially in the control of smart lights.

AVM FRITZ!Smart Gateway released

Those who have aligned their smart home with products from manufacturer AVM have reason to rejoice. Because the manufacturer has released the new FRITZ!Smart Gateway, which now also supports Zigbee in addition to DECT ULE and thus offers even more possibilities, especially for smart lights.

This then allows well-known lamps and lighting systems to be integrated, such as Philips Hue and many more. In addition, the new gateway can be used to integrate even more DECT devices such as radiator controllers, power sockets, wireless switches and LED lamps into the smart home system. Communication with the FRITZ!Box takes place via WLAN or LAN. Both interfaces are available on the gateway and are intended exclusively for smart home integration. All devices can be set up centrally on the FRITZ!Box interface, which is then conveniently operated via browser, app, FRITZ!Fon or smart switch.
