Backforce and Sensit! tease haptic gaming chair in the middle of the road

In a crazy move, Backforce and Sensit! teased a new haptic gaming chair. And they did it in the middle of the street in Austin, Texas, in the wake of SXSW.

Now the manufacturer is preparing a whole new gaming chair experience, which they’ve teased on the streets of Austin, Texas in partnership with Sensit! As part of SXSW in Austin, passersby suddenly came across the Haptic Gaming Chair and the middle of the street.

Needless to say, this one caused quite a stir. But what is it anyway? The high-quality, ergonomic gaming chair from Backforce paired with Sensit!’s Metahaptics technology is supposed to provide a whole new gaming experience that pulls you right into games with haptic feedback. The first users who were able to try it out were enthusiastic.

The idea was already there in 2022

This technically makes Backforce and Sensit! the first manufacturers to position a gaming chair with haptic feedback on the market. However, the idea is not entirely new.

Razer had already announced a comparable gaming chair at CES 2022 in the form of the Razer Enki Pro HyperSense – however, this is only a concept that has not been put into practice (at least not yet). Let’s see what the Haptic Gaming Chair from Backforce and Sensit! will have to offer – we are very curious.
