be quiet! Light Wings White: ARGB fan now also in white color

Manufacturer be quiet! now also brings the Fans with ARGB lighting introduced in late 2021 in a white color and wants to appeal to all those who prefer a bright build. From a technical perspective, however, there are no differences in the be quiet! Light Wings White.

The be quiet! Light Wings White in detail

The new be quiet! Light Wings White fans offer the same powerful and quiet operation as their black counterpart, but with their white color scheme they are right for those who want to build or already own a light-colored PC fit in well with the setup accordingly.

The fan itself, the cable sheathing and the connector are all white. The logo on the fan scar is kept in subtle gray as a light accent.

To match, of course, there is ARGB lighting to make your build shine in bright colors. The lighting was realized with an LED ring at the fan inlet and another narrow LED ring at the outlet, so that the ARGB effects are clearly visible from both fan sides.

Up to 20 individually addressable LEDs allow for various lighting effects. A diffuser also ensures that the illumination is as uniform as possible, allowing for very special effects.

Two sizes, four variants

Available in four variants (120 mm, 120 mm high-speed, 140 mm and 140 mm high-speed), the new Light Wings White are each offered in a triple pack. The triple packs each contain an ARGB hub in white to match the fans, which enables the synchronization of a total of up to six ARGB components. A control directly via the mainboard is also no problem with the help of an existing 5V ARGB header.

The PWM models are equipped with seven fan blades and reach a speed of up to 1,700 rpm (120mm) and 1,500 rpm (140mm), which is why they are ideal as case fans thanks to their low noise levels.

The PWM high-speed models, on the other hand, are suitable for use on radiators or heat sinks with nine fan blades and up to 2,500 rpm (120mm) or 2,200 rpm (140mm). The solid frame and adapted impeller result in shorter fan blades with optimized angles for both models. This ensures a balanced relationship between volume and performance. The high-quality and robust Rifle bearing guarantees long-lasting operation of up to 60,000 operating hours.

Prices and availability

The new fans be quiet! Light Wings White will find their way into stores from April 11, 2023. Lo it goes price-wise with the 120mm PWM Triple Pack for 69.90 euros. The high-speed model in the same size also costs 69.90 euros. Both 140mm variants, on the other hand, have a recommended retail price of 72.90 Euros.
