be quiet! has once again introduced an exciting new CPU cooler. It goes by the name of be quiet! Pure Rock LP and is characterized primarily by its compact height, thanks to which it can also fit into smaller cases. It is only 45 mm high.
The be quiet! Pure Rock LP in detail
Compact systems and mini-ITX towers get a comparatively flat CPU cooler with the new be quiet! Pure Rock LP, which nevertheless wants to score with a convincing performance. It is only 45 mm high and thus fits into just about any case. This makes it significantly flatter than the Pure Rock Slim 2, for example. Its compact design still allows full utilization of the RAM banks.
The manufacturer’s 92-mm quality fan is designed for reliable and particularly quiet cooling and reaches a maximum noise level of 30.6 dB(A). Three powerful 6 mm heatpipes are used, which allow a cooling performance of up to 100 watts TDP. The maximum speed is 2,500 rpm.
At the same time, the be quiet! Pure Rock LP relies on a simple black design made of brushed aluminum and is particularly easy to install. It is compatible with a whole range of Intel sockets (1700, 1200, 1150, 1151 and 1155), as well as AMD sockets AM4 and AM5. A corresponding mounting kit is included, and a thermal paste to get started right away is already applied.
Price and availability
The be quiet! Pure Rock LP compact CPU cooler will be available in stores on December 13, 2022. The manufacturer’s recommended retail price is 49.90 euros.
