Cooler Master Sneaker X: PC case in shoe look

No, it’s not April 1 and it’s not a joke either. To celebrate the company’s 30th birthday, Cooler Master is releasing a PC case that looks like a giant sneaker. The Cooler Master Sneaker X is based on a design from a case mod contest and we now reality.

Cooler Master Sneaker X becomes a reality

With a PC case in sneaker look, JMDF participated in the Case Mod World Series 2020 organized by Cooler Master. The modder didn’t have a specific model in mind for the implementation, but showed off sneakers from Nike, Adidas and Balenciaga.

Now the sneaker case becomes reality, because for the 30th birthday they put the Cooler Master Sneaker X Case actually. Accordingly, the shoe case convinces with a particularly large amount of space, thanks to which even high-end components such as current graphics cards can easily find room.

But the airflow also benefits noticeably thanks to the Sneaker X’s numerous air inlets and outlets. According to the manufacturer, it should also be possible to install an AiO water cooler without any problems, but Cooler Master does not provide any concrete details about the price or release date. However, pre-ordering should be possible from the 3rd quarter of 2022.

A real shark light: Cooler Master Shark X

A second case modding highlight is also being realized, and it comes in the form of the Cooler Master Shark X, which is to be offered in strictly limited editions from Q4 2022. However, the price and specifications of this case are still under wraps.

What is known is that the Shark X is inspired by the CMODX case mod called Leviathan by Inony. In the original, components worth around 5,700 US dollars were at work. We’re curious to see how high the price of the case will be.
