Manufacturer EcoFlow, best known for its power stations like the River 2 Max (our review), had already officially unveiled the autonomous EcoFlow Blade robotic mower, the Glacier refrigerator and freezer, and the Wave 2 air conditioner at CES 2023. Now the market launch is underway.
EcoFlow Blade in detail
The EcoFlow Blade is said to be the world’s first autonomous robotic mower that can not only trim the lawn, but also sweep it directly afterwards. The robot does not need a perimeter wire at all and detects its surroundings using a LiDAR sensor (Light Detection and Ranging).
The integrated camera detects lawn debris such as twigs and leaves and sweeps them up in the integrated collection bin. They are then deposited fully automatically in a pre-determined location for this purpose.
Thanks to the LiDAR sensor, the integrated camera and the positioning system based on X-Vision Real Time Kinematic Navigation (RTK), the Blade works fully automatically in an area that has been previously defined for this purpose within the EcoFlow app. Even obstacles in the working area are said to be avoided by the EcoFlow Blade fully automatically and safely, without you having to intervene.
Extra large wheels should also allow the robotic lawnmower to independently overcome uneven surfaces and obstacles with a height of up to 40 mm. Via 4G connectivity and integrated eSIM, even continuous location control is possible.
Manufacturer-side, there is a 3+1 year warranty on the robotic mower, as well as free accessory replacement for the life of the product. The battery is said to last up to 240 minutes and is fully charged again in 130 minutes. Thus, the EcoFlow Blade is said to be able to mow and sweep an area of up to 300 m² per hour. In terms of cutting height, it supports between 20 mm and 76 mm.

EcoFlow Glacier: Mobile refrigerator and freezer with ice cube function
Cool drinks and fresh food, even on the go, on the other hand, promises the EcoFlow Glacier. A mobile refrigerator and freezer with removable battery and integrated ice cube maker.
The powerful battery has a capacity of 298 watt hours. On a single charge, it provides 40 hours of non-stop cooling or 19 hours of deep-freezing. Ice cubes are produced in the device itself: The Glacier takes 12 minutes to make 18 ice cubes. Two separate storage zones provide independent temperature control for simultaneous cooling and freezing.
The device, which should cut a fine figure especially when camping or on vacation, is equipped with a powerful compressor that cools down from 30°C to 0°C in just 15-20 minutes in Max mode. Eco mode, on the other hand, reduces power consumption, which naturally extends the runtime.
The cooler and freezer can be conveniently transported with an extendable handle and integrated wheels. In addition, the EcoFlow Glacier, which weighs around 23 kg, can also be used to charge other electronic devices such as notebooks or smartphones.
EcoFlow Wave 2: Cooling and heating on the road or at home
The third new product in the bunch is the EcoFlow Wave 2 air conditioner, which is capable of both cooling on hot days and providing heat in cold weather. The manufacturer promises the “industry’s fastest cooling and heating performance in a unit of this type” with 5100 BTU of cooling and 6100 BTU of heating capacity in a usable area of 10 m².
Compared to its predecessor, the dimensions have been reduced in the 22 percent, making Wave 2 particularly mobile. With a weight of 14.6 kg and a size of 518 mm x 297 mm x 336 mm, the air conditioner is still suitable for luggage on the next vacation.
With its 1159 watt auxiliary battery, the EcoFlow Wave 2 offers up to eight hours of operating time. Runtime and performance can be conveniently monitored and controlled via the EcoFlow app. Different modes, including Eco, Sleeping and Fast, adjustable temperatures and settings ensure operation according to personal needs.
The battery is charged either by alternating current, direct current, via generator or solar cells. Of course, the air conditioner can also be connected to a portable EcoFlow power source to achieve a runtime of up to 18 hours.
Prices and Availability
The EcoFlow Blade autonomous robotic mower will be available in stores April 26 at a suggested retail price of $2,999. The collection container will also cost an additional 799 euros, whereby you will only pay 3,699 euros as a bundle together.
At the same time, the EcoFlow Glacier mobile fridge-freezer combination is launched at a recommended retail price of 1,199 euros. The 298 Wh additional battery is available separately at a price of 299 euros, while the two together cost 1,399 euros.
EcoFlow Wave 2, on the other hand, will follow on May 15, 2023, at a price of 1,199 euros. The 1159 Wh add-on battery is available separately for 899 euros, while the bundle calls for 1,999 euros. All new products are available directly from the manufacturer as well as at Amazon.
