Glorious Model D- Wireless and Model O- Wireless: Lightweight gaming mice now wireless

The lightweight gaming mouse Glorious Model D could convince in our test. It and its brother Glorious Model O now get further wireless offshoots, which were announced back in November and are now finally available. However, the naming is quite confusing: it is important to note the “minus”, because there are differences between the Model D Wireless and the Model D- Wireless, the same goes for the O variant compared to the Model O Wireless (our review).

The Glorious Model D Wireless features

After a bit of a delay, the Glorious Model D- Wireless and Model O- Wireless gaming mice are finally available for pre-order after originally being scheduled to ship in November 2021. Although only with a matte surface, because a glossy version is still not in sight – this is apparently only reserved for the wired counterparts.

Both mice come in a matte black or matte white color scheme and hardly differ from the wired model. In return, both gaming mice lose weight. The Model O Wireless loses 5 grams compared to the Model O Wireless, while the D version loses 2 grams. The dimensions of the mice are also minimally smaller in comparison.

All wireless mice from Glorious use the 2.4 GHz wireless network. The battery of the lightweight gaming mouse is said to last for a whole 71 hours (with 1,000 Hz polling rate and deactivated illumination) and can also be charged during gaming via the two-meter braided USB-C cable.

At the heart of the mouse is the high-precision Glorious BAMF sensor, designed in cooperation with PixArt. With a maximum resolution of 19,000 DPI and the high sampling rate of 400 IPS for accelerations of up to 50 G, the sensor is well equipped to reliably process even fast mouse movements of low-sensitivity gamers.

Prices and Availability

All of Glorious’s wireless mice (i.e. Model D, Model D-, Model O and Model O-) are available for pre-order now, for example at Caseking. All rodents also share the RRP: 94.90 euros are called up here. The online retailer has not yet announced an expected delivery date.
