HANNspree introduces new HC284UFB and HC284UPB 4K large-screen monitors

Display specialist HANNspree is expanding its display-oriented HC series with two new 4K large-screen monitors. The HC284UFB and HC284UPB are two 28-inch LED monitors that differ only minimally in terms of features.

Both new monitors come with a 71.1 cm screen diagonal (28 inches) and rely on an LED panel. Thanks to 4K Ultra HD resolution (3840 x 2160 pixels), the HANNspree monitors are supposed to score with a convincing picture quality.

Thereby, the two displays HC284UFB and HC284UPB differ only minimally from each other and convince with an ultra-slim design with a depth of only 70.55 mm without stand. They offer a contrast ratio of 10,000,000:1, an ultra-wide viewing angle of 178° in both directions and a brightness of 300cd/m2.

In addition, both HANNspree models have preset picture modes for content such as games and movies that offer optimal display settings. Regarding the response time, the manufacturer speaks of 5 ms, and the maximum frame rate is 60 Hz.

Both monitors come with Picture by Picture (PbP) and Picture in Picture (PiP) feature for splitting the picture into two halves and a small additional window respectively while working or gaming.

The Differences

HANNspree’s HC284UFB and HC284UPB are equipped with an anti-glare coating to reduce reflective light that causes eye fatigue during long viewing sessions. They also feature a blue light reduction mode and flicker-free technology to reduce the effects of prolonged screen time and the resulting health risks.

They only differ in terms of features: for example, the more expensive HC284UFB, which costs 10 euros, offers two DisplayPort 1.4 inputs and two 3W powerful integrated speakers (compared to 2W for the HC284UPB). Complementing this, both monitors offer an HDMI 2.0 port as well as a USB HUB 3.0 (1 up, 2 down).

The HANNspree HC284UFB and HC284UPB 4K large-screen monitors are available now. The more affordable HC284UPB is currently available from 257.00 euros, while the HC284UFB is priced 265.00 euros – both prices are already below the manufacturer’s MSRP.
