Honor 200 (Pro) with 4,000 nits AMOLED and 50 MP camera launch in Germany

Just over two weeks ago, Honor presented the Honor 200 and Honor 200 Pro in China, and now the two upper mid-range smartphones with powerful features are also being launched in Germany.

Honor 200 and Honor 200 Pro are coming to Germany

The Honor 200 and Honor 200 Pro have almost identical features. Both smartphones have an AMOLED display that is 120 Hz fast and has a peak brightness of up to 4,000 nits. However, the display of the Pro model is 0.08 inches larger at 6.78 inches and offers a larger rounded edge. The fingerprint scanner is integrated into the display on both models.

Both smartphones also come with a 50-megapixel front camera, although the 200 Pro has an additional depth camera for 3D face recognition.

However, both models are almost identical when it comes to the rear camera. A total of three lenses are combined here:

  • 50 MP wide-angle camera (f/1.9 aperture, OIS)
  • 50 MP telephoto lens (f/2.4 aperture, OIS)
  • 12 MP ultra wide-angle camera (f/2.2 aperture)

However, the main camera sensor on the 200 Pro is slightly larger at 1/1.3 inches than on the 200 at 1/1.56 inches.

Both models record video in a maximum of 4K on the front and rear. In addition, there are various modes for photos such as Portrait Art Style, Moving Photo, Time Lapse, AI Photography, Super Wide Angle, Aperture, Multi Video, Night Shot, Portrait Mode, Photo, Pro Mode and many more.

The battery of the Honor 200 and Honor 200 Pro has a capacity of 5,200 mAh and both devices can be charged via cable at a speed of 100 watts, but only the Pro model also supports wireless charging with a maximum of 66 watts.

Faster chip in the Honor 200 Pro

The biggest difference can probably be found in the SoC. The Honor 200 Pro comes with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, which combines a Cortex-X4 3.0 GHz, 4 Cortex-A720 2.8 GHz and 3 Cortex-A520 2.0 GHz.

The Honor 200, on the other hand, relies on the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 (1x Cortex-A715 2.63 GHz 3x Cortex-A715 2.4 GHz 4x Cortex-A510 1.8 GHz) and a slightly weaker GPU. This combines the 200 with 8 GB or 12 GB RAM and 256 GB or 512 GB system memory, while the 200 Pro is only available with 12 GB/512 GB.

MagicOS 8.0 based on Android 14 is used as the operating system for both smartphones. The Honor 200 comes in the colors Moonlight White, Emerald Green and Black, while the 200 Pro comes in Ocean Cyan, Moonlight White and Black.
