As part of CES 2022, HP’s peripheral manufacturer announced the HyperX Clutch wireless gaming controller, an exciting gamepad that is available in stores now. The Clutch works with Android and PC and comes with up to 19 hours of battery life.
HyperX Clutch Wireless Gaming Controller Available
The new HyperX Clutch is designed to appeal to PC and mobile gamers in particular. The layout of the wireless controller is reminiscent of that of Microsoft’s Xbox gamepads and relies on a comfortable, ergonomic design complete with non-slip controller grips.
The Clutch works with all games that support controllers on both PC and Android. The gamepad works wirelessly with devices via Bluetooth 4.2 or with the help of the 2.4 GHz receiver and allows seamless switching between Android and PC.
A wired connection to a PC can be made via the included USB-C to USB-A cable, allowing users to take advantage of cloud gaming on multiple devices.
Additional buttons on the gamepad
In addition to the standard buttons, the HyperX Clutch features additional Turbo and Clear buttons, as well as a Home button. Other features include a convenient, adjustable cell phone clip. Attached to the controller, this holds any smartphone with a width between 41 and 86 mm securely in place.
The integrated battery has a capacity of 600 mAh and should last for a maximum of 19 hours.
