IO Hawk presents underwater scooters

E-Mobility expert IO HAWK opens up new worlds with the Sub One: It is the company’s first underwater scooter. With this vehicle it is very easy to dive through the sea, lakes or pools.

In addition to electric scooters, hoverboards and e-bikers, the Krefeld company IO HAWK now also has an underwater vehicle in its range. Its construction and operation are extremely user-friendly. The scooter has two handles that must be gripped. The device then pulls the user through the depths of the sea or swimming pool. The speed can be easily controlled by a three-position toggle switch. The maximum speed that the two 500 watt motors of the scooter can reach is 5.4 km/h.

A lithium-ion battery is installed, which lasts up to 30 minutes, depending on speed. After that it can be fully charged within two to three hours. Exchangeable batteries are also available as an option. The scooter also has a clearly visible battery indicator – so no one will be surprised by an empty battery in the shallows of the sea.

Visually, the underwater scooter has an elegant and simple wing design. However, this design has mainly functional reasons: It provides the necessary buoyancy to let the user glide through the water without any problems and as pleasantly as possible. The scope of delivery also includes a safety strap and a GoPro-Mount. The weight of the vehicle is 3.5 kilograms.

The Sub One is available immediately and costs 399 euros. An additional battery can be purchased for an additional 70 euros.
