The LG gram series has always been characterized by its particularly low weight, among other things. This is no different with the new LG gram 2023 models. The first premium notebooks with 14, 16 and 17 inch screen diagonals are now starting to go on sale, but the most exciting model will come later.
LG gram 2023 in detail
LG gram notebooks are lightweight and powerful laptops designed for mobility and productivity. They offer long battery life, a robust design and high screen quality.
Starting off within the LG gram 2023 lineup are the 14-inch, 16-inch and 17-inch diagonal notebooks. They all rely on Intel Core i7 processors of the 13th generation up to the Core i7-1360P, at least 16 gigabytes of LPDDR5 working memory and webcams with Full HD resolution. The system memory is a maximum of 1 terabyte in each case.
The 14 incher comes with a resolution of 1,920 x 1,200 pixels and achieves a brightness of 350 cd/m². The other two models also rely on a 16.10 format, but have a higher resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels.
They all feature two 2-watt speakers with Dolby Atmos certification. Clever AI features thanks to LG Glance make them easier to use, while the manufacturer promises long battery runtimes. All LG gram 2023 notebooks rely on robust materials and are certified according to US military standards.
The port selection is also shared by all models: two USB-A, two Thunderbolt 4 (USB-C) and HDMI are offered. At 999 grams, 1,199 grams and 1,350 grams, all three models are comparatively light, but it could be even lighter.
LG gram Style with OLED display to follow later
In mid-April 2023, the LG gram Style series is to be followed by a 14- and a 16-inch notebook. Both feature a chic, pearlized glass design and come with an invisible trackpad.
They weigh 999 grams and 1,230 grams, respectively, and come with a high-resolution OLED display. The 14-incher has a resolution of 2.8K and a refresh rate of 90 hertz, while the 16-incher has a resolution of 3.2K and 120 hertz. Both models come with a brightness of 400 nits, and there is also up to 32 GB of RAM only in this series.
The 2-in-1 convertibles with the same screen diagonals are expected to be available in May. Another highlight marks the 15.6-inch LG gram Ultraslim, which is to be available from June 2023 and weighs just 998 grams. It relies on an OLED display including Full HD resolution and is just 12.6 mm thin.

Prices and Availability
The first three models of the LG gram 2023 series are now available directly from the manufacturer and in stores. The new LG gram 14 starts at a recommended retail price of 1,699 euros. The variants in 16 inches and 17 inches are both at 1,798.99 euros.
