Friends of Logitech peripherals pay attention. The PC expert has presented the first keyboard combo of the in-house MX series. The Logitech MX Keys S Combo is composed of MX Keys S keyboard and matching MX Master 3S mouse.
Logitech MX Keys S Combo as a guarantee for workflow
From Logitech’s point of view, the practical combo consisting of mouse and keyboard is optimally suited for use in the home office or classic office. The interaction with the Logi Options+ app is particularly practical. With the help of this application, workflows can be accelerated effectively. Among other things, pre-installed Smart Actions can be activated at the touch of a button. The new MX Keys S Combo consists of the MX Keys S keyboard and the MX Master 3S mouse.
Topping it all off is the handy MX Palm Rest, which serves as an ergonomic palm rest. Logitech advertises its MX Keys S Advanced keyboard primarily with a pleasant typing feel. On top of that, the keys are supposed to be ergonomically shaped and thus adapt to the fingertips. Of course, the illumination shouldn’t be missing either. It is supposed to adjust the LED performance depending on the lighting conditions and the approach of the hand. Settings for this can probably be made in the Logi Options+ app. Thus, the keyboard actually sounds like the perfect complement to the MX Master 3S (test), which was presented almost a year ago.
Logitech MX Anywhere 3S comes in a compact format
This model lives up to its nickname “Anywhere”, at least on paper. After all, the small rodent can always be taken anywhere thanks to its compact design. However, the mini dimensions don’t mean that you have to accept savings in technology here. Logitech relies on an electromagnetic MagSpeed wheel, which is supposed to make scrolling fast, precise and almost silent.
To avoid making enemies in an open-plan office or train compartment, the company also relies on Quiet Click technology. This is supposed to ensure that pressing the mouse buttons is even quieter, especially compared to the predecessor. The optical sensor of the mouse offers 8,000 DPI and should be able to be used on many surfaces.
Sustainable design
With its Logitech MX Keys S Combo as well as the MX Anywhere 3S, the manufacturer also wants to emphasize sustainability. Among other things, this means that certified recycled plastic is used in the production of the plastic parts, according to the manufacturer. In this way, the MX Anywhere 3S is said to consist of 61 percent recycled material. Razer even thinks about the environment when producing the aluminum plate in the interior. Here, the emission of CO² is to be minimized by not using fossil fuels in the production, but renewable energies. On top of that, they pack the novelties in paper to keep the CO² footprint as small as possible.
Price and availability
You can buy Logitech’s novelties from June 2023. They are available on the manufacturer’s official website and in retail stores. For the Logitech MX Keys S combo, Logitech charges an MSRP of 219.00 euros. The MX Keys S alone is available from 119.00 euros. For its small but mighty MX Anywhere 3S, the company again calls for an MSRP of 99.99 euros.
