Minisforum AtomMan G7 Pt comes as a mini PC with powerful performance

Minisforum has unveiled a new gaming-ready mini PC. The Minisforum AtomMan G7 Pt is based on an AMD Ryzen CPU from the 7000 series and comes with a dedicated graphics card.

Manufacturer Minisforum has unveiled a new gaming mini PC that comes with powerful features. It’s called the Minisforum AtomMan G7 Pt and is in direct competition with the AceMagic M2A, for example.

It features an AMD Ryzen 9 7945HX processor with 16 cores and clock speeds of up to 5.4 GHz, while a dedicated graphics card in the form of the AMD Radeon RX 7600M XT with 8 GB of GDDR6 VRAM is also installed.

This means that the mini PC is also suitable for more demanding games, even if not in maximum details. Compared to the Radeon RX 6600M, which was used in the Minisforum Neptune HX99G, for example, the gaming performance is said to be 26 percent higher.

The system can be equipped with up to 96 GB of RAM in two DDR5 slots, while two M.2 2280 SSDs can be installed, one of which can even be connected via PCIe 5.0.

According to the manufacturer, this is the first Mini PC in the world to receive AMD Advantage certification from AMD. This is awarded to devices that achieve outstanding gaming performance from AMD CPU and GPU.

Strong cooling performance, many ports

In order to tame this power, the upright Minisforum AtomMan G7 Pt relies on a strong cooling system consisting of a three-dimensional structure, two-sided fans or eight heatpipes, which keep a TDP of up to 205 watts in check and should be a maximum of 45 dB loud even under load.

The rear panel has RGB lighting with elements from a renowned comic artist, while a whole range of modern ports are provided.

HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 2.0 and one USB-C port are available for video output. There are also four USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A ports, two USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C ports, a 3.5 mm jack, line out, mic in and one 2.5 Gbit LAN port. However, the mini PC apparently does not have USB 4.

It also has fast Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth via an M.2 2230 card. Windows 11 is used as the operating system.
