Smartphone manufacturer Motorola wants to launch two new smartphones on the German market at once: the Moto G9 Plus and the Moto E7 Plus. Both devices are to shine with convincing hardware at a fair price.
Much revised compared to the predecessor
The manufacturer was very busy with his two new devices. After all, in contrast to the respective previous generation, a lot has happened. For example, the Moto G9 Plus now offers a 6.8-inch Max Vision FHD+ display and with its Snapdragon 730G, a lot of power under the hood. Features of the smaller and more affordable E7 Plus are also impressive.
Larger display and larger battery
The difference to the predecessors, which is probably the most noticeable, is the display size. While the Moto G8 Plus offered “only” 6.3 inches, the new generation has a 6.8 inch display. Thanks to the combination of the FHD+ display and HDR10, this should not only provide a razor-sharp image, but also a high-contrast one. In the Moto E7, the display is again enlarged from 6.1 inches to 6.5 inches. Here, Motorola relies on a Max Vision HD+ display with a 20:9 aspect ratio. But not only the displays, but also the batteries have grown. While the Moto G8 Plus offered just 4,000 mAh, the latest generation is now at 5,000 mAh. With the Moto E7 Plus the accumulator grows in the comparison to the predecessor still more. Thus that possessed the E6 plus straight once 3,000 mAh battery capacity. The new version shines in contrast to it likewise with 5.000 mAh.
Stronger processor and better camera
But Motorola also relies on a comprehensive performance upgrade for the heart of its smartphones. The Moto G9 Plus is powered by the powerful Snapdragon 730G from Qualcomm. It is supported by 4 GB RAM. In contrast, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 460 works in the somewhat smaller E7, where Motorola also relies on 4 GB RAM. The two smartphones offer 128 GB (G9 Plus) and 64 GB (E7 Plus) of integrated memory. The manufacturer has also revised the cameras. For example, the main camera used in the Moto G9 Plus is a quadruple camera with 64 MP. For the matching selfies, the G9 Plus has a 16 MP strong front camera. In contrast, the E7 Plus offers a main camera with 48 MP. As front camera Motorola uses a 8 MP strong camera. The two smartphones also offer practical functions for the Google Assistant. Motorola has installed a button on the side especially for this purpose. Android 10 is installed on both devices ex works, which has been slightly adapted by My UX.
Prices and availability
At the beginning of October the time has come. Then both the Moto G9 Plus and the Moto E7 Plus should be available in stores. Motorola calls with the larger equipment, the Moto G9 plus, a UVP of 270 euro. The E7 Plus, on the other hand, is to find its way to the store counter at an RRP of 150 Euros. For the colors one has the choice between orange and blue.
