MSI presents new monitors for efficiency and productivity

MSI has announced an exciting monitor series. The PRO MP271 models are not primarily aimed at gamers. Instead, the company has productive applications in mind. The globally very successful manufacturer of wide-ranging computer solutions focuses on ergonomics and eye protection. Thus, even many hours of work should not lead to headaches and/or eye pain.

New monitor series with TÜV certification

The fact that the new monitors are tailor-made for PC work at home or in the office is not empty PR talk from MSI. Instead, the manufacturer has equipped the monitors with eye-friendly technologies that have received reliable certification from TÜV Rheinland. The user’s visual comfort is said to be noticeably increased by MSI’s anti-flicker technology, among other things.

As the name suggests, this is intended to prevent screen flicker and thus prevent rapid eye fatigue. In addition, the PRO MP271QP, PRO MP271P and PRO MP271 monitors should be able to offer a special mode that significantly reduces the amount of blue light. Here, only a small part of the blue light spectrum is displayed on the screen due to a special filter technology. This should lead to a much lower visual load than is the case with screens without such a filter technology.

MSI promises ergonomic work

In the wake of the Corona crisis, at the latest, many have come around to the idea of setting up a fully-fledged home office. However, one should keep in mind that long working days also require specially adapted work equipment. Otherwise there is a risk of neck and/or back pain. The magic word here is ergonomics. Naturally, the manufacturers are also reacting to this. For this reason, MSI has given its new monitor series an extra portion of adjustment options. The pivotal point is the stable stand. This allows the PRO MP271QP and PRO MP271P to rotate by 90 degrees. On top of that, the base of both monitors can be freely swiveled, tilted, rotated and adjusted in height. Customized alignment is no problem here.

The so-called MSI Display Kit app should also prove to be extremely user-friendly. It enables menu control of the screen conveniently via mouse and keyboard. Thus, the screen content is not disturbed by annoying and often confusing menus. The monitors do not necessarily require the connection of speakers. This is made possible by the integrated speakers with an output of 2 watts. MSI is also jumping on the bandwagon of a more environmentally friendly production. The Asian manufacturer has even had this certified by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for its MSI PRO MP271 and PRO MP271P. In the process, MSI received the ERNERGY STAR Most Efficient 2021 for the two monitors.

Release still unknown

Thanks to the VESA compatibility of the monitor series, not only matching monitor arms, but also mini PCs can be conveniently mounted on the back. All in all, the monitors sound like an exciting choice, especially for business users. However, MSI does not yet know when and at what price the new devices will be launched.
