Raijintek Ophion Elite: Airy ITX case introduced

With the Raijintek Ophion Elite, the manufacturer has introduced a huge PC case in the ITX segment which is optionally also offered with a side window. Extensive RGB lighting does not have to be dispensed with, of course.

The Raijintek Ophion Elite in detail

302 x 180 x 458 mm (length x width x height) is the size of the ITX case Raijintek Ophion Elite, offering a volume of 24.90 liters. Thanks to a steel and plastic construction, the case also weighs in at 5.10 kg.

The motherboard standards Mini-ITX and Thin Mini-ITX are supported. The huge interior space is mainly used for effective cooling of the components, whereby the vertical installation of the graphics card with the help of a riser cable has to be waived.

Graphics cards with a maximum of three slots can be installed, with the fans facing the front to be supplied with fresh air there. Optionally, two additional fans can also be installed there. The approach is quite similar to the case of the Hyte Revolt 3, except that the GPU fans are directed downwards here.

Cooling and design

Processor coolers are allowed to be a maximum of 130 mm high. Here, the additional fresh air comes via the right mesh side panel, which accommodates two additional fans or an AiO water cooler. However, with a maximum size of 240 mm.

From the factory, the Raijintek Ophion Elite only has a single pre-installed fan with a diameter of 120 mm placed in the rear. The warm air from the PSU is discharged from the bottom, although ATX PSUs can be installed due to the high volume.

The lid and side panels have an additional dust filter and can be quickly and easily removed or reattached thanks to a magnetic holder. Storage drives are, quite classically, mounted behind the motherboard. There is room for up to three 3.5-inch and three 2.5-inch drives.

Raijintek places the I/O panel in the lid, offering two USB 3.0 (USB 3.2 Gen 1), one USB 3.0 (USB 3.2 Gen 1) Type C, and 3.5mm HD audio. The Ophion Elite is also optionally available with a side window. Unfortunately, the manufacturer has not yet revealed when and at what price the Raijintek Ophion Elite will be available in stores.
