Razer Iskur: fabric variant of the popular gaming chair presented

The Razer Iskur (our review) and Razer Iskur X are among the most popular and best gaming chairs on the market. Until now, the chairs were only available in a PVC leather variant, but now the manufacturer is relaunching its top sellers with a fabric cover due to high demand.

Water-repellent and comfortable

Those who were looking for a comfortable gaming chair with a fabric cover were not served by Razer until now. But demand within the community has been huge, so Razer is now relaunching the Iskur and Iskur X with an ultra-soft, water-resistant fabric material.

The tightly woven fabric offers a soft seating feel, high everyday usability, and is resistant to water, oil, and dirt. Of course, the new edition also features the innovative adjustable lumbar support, which already impressed us in our review of the leather gaming chair.

Unlike most other gaming chairs, Razer relies on an adjustable lumbar support for the Iskur, which can be adjusted to the user’s spine and optimally relieves the back. In addition, the 4D armrests are once again used, which can be adjusted up and down, back and forth, as well as left and right, and they can be folded inwards or outwards.

At the same time, Razer also offers the cheaper Iskur X chair in a fabric variant. Here, you have to do without the adjustable back support, while the armrests can only be adjusted in height and rotated inwards or outwards.

The Razer Iskur and Iskur X are aimed at people with a height between 170 cm and 190 cm and can support a maximum weight of 136 kg. That secured the chair a spot in our list of best gaming chairs for tall people.

XL variant for extra tall people is coming

At the same time, Razer is now offering the Iskur and Iskur X in an additional size to accommodate even taller people. The XL variants turn out 15 percent more opulent compared to the standard model and offer a better fit for gamers thanks to a higher backrest and wider seat.

According to the manufacturer, there is room for people up to 2.08 m tall. The maximum weight is 180 kg.

The Razer Iskur and Iskur X in the fabric variant are available now at Razer.com, RazerStores and select retailers. The MSRP for the Iskur is 549.99 euros, while the Iskur X comes in at 399.99 euros. The XL variants are 649.99 euros for the Iskur and 599.99 euros for the Iskur X, respectively.
