Razer, a well-known name in the gaming hardware industry, has recently launched a new product: the Razer Moray in-ear monitors. These earphones are specifically designed for long gaming or streaming sessions and combine a dynamic driver with a balanced-armature driver to provide a balanced sound experience.
Technical aspects and design features
The Razer Moray feature an ergonomic design that ensures long-lasting comfort. They feature a 1.6-meter braided cable with a memory loop sleeve that keeps the cable behind the ear for added comfort. Thanks to the MMCX standard, the cable can be replaced if necessary.
Sound quality and noise isolation
The Razer Moray offer a combination of a dynamic driver for deep bass and a balanced-armature driver for clear highs. This combination is said to provide a balanced sound experience. Although the Razer Moray do not offer active noise cancellation, they can reduce ambient noise by up to 36 dB, according to the manufacturer.
Comfort and Adaptability
The Razer Moray are designed to fit the anatomy of the ear for comfort. They come with three different types of ear tips in three different sizes so they can be customized. In addition, they come with a portable, splash-proof carrying case that makes them an ideal companion when you’re on the go.
Availability and Price
The Razer Moray in-ears are available for pre-order now through Razer’s online store and also through Amazon for $149.99, with shipping expected to begin June 30.
