SCUF Reflex: Professional controller for PlayStation 5 introduced

With the SCUF Reflex, PlayStation 5 gamers can now also enjoy a powerful gamepad.

The features of the SCUF Reflex

With the SCUF Reflex pro controller, gamers on the PlayStation 5 get a powerful gamepad at their fingertips. Or rather three gamepads, because in addition to the SCUF Reflex, the manufacturer now also introduced the Reflex Pro and Reflex FPS specifically for first-person shooters.

All three models feature the patented paddle control system. Four removable and configurable paddles on the back can be assigned button inputs to perform in-game actions without having to use the classic PlayStation buttons.

Programming is done directly on the controller. Paddle profiles can be used to customize and save controller settings for different games. A total of three profiles can be stored in the internal memory.

The differences between SCUF Reflex, Pro and FPS

The SCUF Reflex and Reflex Pro also share adaptive triggers, which the gamepad inherited from the PS5 DualSense controller. This allows the resistances to adapt to what is happening on the screen, for example, to simulate a blocking weapon or a heavy object.

The Reflex FPS, on the other hand, features the patented Instant Triggers, which allow the pressure point to be significantly shortened to create a mouse-click-like feel when triggered. It also does away with vibration motors, which are usually disabled for pro gamers anyway.

Exchangeable analog sticks in different sizes then again share all three models. A particularly grippy and non-slip top (called Performance Grip) is also only available on the Pro and FPS models.

Prices and Availability

The SCUF Reflex controllers for PlayStation 5 are available now from the manufacturer’s store, but are currently already sold out due to high demand. It starts at a price of 219.99 euros for the Reflex. The SCUF Reflex Pro is priced at 239.99 euros, while the SCUF Reflex FPS is 269.99 euros.
