Sharkoon V1000 RGB: Popular PC case returns with RGB lighting

Manufacturer Sharkoon releases a new edition of the popular micro-ATX PC case V1000. As the name already suggests, the Sharkoon V1000 RGB relies on RGB lighting. Despite its compact dimensions, the case can also accommodate particularly large components such as a graphics card with a length of up to 40 cm.

Sharkoon V1000 RGB introduced

In terms of the basic design, the Sharkoon V1000 RGB hardly differs from its brother. The manufacturer still relies on a fairly compact tower in black, which cuts a good figure in the office as well as in gaming.

New, however: The V1000 RGB comes pre-installed with two 120-millimeter RGB LED fans behind the mesh front and one on the back. The case can be illuminated in a wide variety of colors via an RGB controller integrated into the mainboard with a pin assignment of 5V-D-G or 5V-D-coded-G. The lighting can be integrated into the systems. The lighting can be integrated into the systems of different manufacturers like ASRock, ASUS, MSI or Gigabyte and synchronized with other lighting.

Optimized ventilation and plenty of space

Three 120mm RGB LED fans are already installed in the front and rear of the Sharkoon V1000 RGB. On the top, the case also offers space for up to three additional 120-millimeter fans or two 140-mm fans. Removable dust filters on the top, front, and bottom keep the components well protected and the case clean.

A removable 5.25-inch drive mount is located in the front. An external 3.5-inch drive can also be installed using the included 5.25-inch front panel with 3.5-inch opening. The hard drive cage can accommodate two 3.5-inch or two 2.5-inch hard drives. Two additional 2.5-inch hard drives can be accommodated behind the motherboard tray.

Although the case is compact, a radiator can be installed at the front (maximum height: 5.9 cm). Graphics cards with a maximum length of 40 centimeters also find room comfortably. A CPU cooler with a maximum height of approx. 15.8 centimeters, as well as a power supply with a maximum length of 24.0 centimeters can also be installed in the Micro ATX case. Numerous cable passages inside the case ensure that the remaining cabling can also disappear neatly behind the motherboard tray.
