SteelSeries Launches Wireless Version of Arctis 1

SteelSeries presents the Arctis 1 Wireless. Thanks to a USB-C dongle, the gaming headset should enable latency-free wireless transmission and be in no way inferior to the wired devices of the Arctis series.

The headset is equipped with a steel-reinforced headband and Airweave ear cushions. The headband fulfils several functions: On the one hand it provides stability, on the other hand it provides great wearing comfort and – due to its compactness – easy transportability. The overall slim design makes the headset ideal for mobile use. The fact that the microphone can be picked up can also be seen as a move towards mobile usability.

The 2.4 GHz wireless connection is established via a small USB-C dongle plugged into the output device. The aim is to achieve low latencies and ultimately optimum connections. The headset is compatible with computers, the PlayStation 4, the Nintendo Switch and Android smartphones. Thanks to the included 3.5 mm cable, it can also be used with other output devices.

The Headset is immediately for 119.99 euro on the Webseite of the manufacturer available.
