Year after year, Xiaomi comes up with smartphones that can easily keep up with the very big manufacturers due to their impressive value for money. This time, the Chinese tech company even leaves the competition behind in some disciplines. With the Xiaomi 11T Pro, the company launches a real high-end smartphone that could revolutionize the entire market, especially in terms of battery performance.
Samsung cannot keep up
With Huawei no longer a real competitor to Samsung in Western climes due to applicable U.S. embargoes, other manufacturers have taken a broader stance. One company that has filled the void of Huawei devices is undoubtedly Xiaomi. This is also noticeable in the sales figures. Thereby, it is quite understandable that the Chinese company can register a great success. After all, it offers a lot of smartphone technology at an extremely fair price.

The Xiaomi 11T Pro does not only want to score with a low RRP, but also with a lot of performance. It clearly outperforms Samsung especially in terms of battery performance. Especially the charging speed clearly outclasses Samsung’s current flagship. The reason for this is probably not least the powerful 120-watt power supply that Xiaomi provides for its flagship. For comparison: The Galaxy S21 comes with a 25-watt power supply. It is therefore hardly surprising that the 11T Pro is fully charged after an impressively fast 17 minutes. It takes a bit over an hour for the Galaxy S21.
Huge power supply already ex-factory
The fact that the Xiaomi flagship can be charged within a very short time is already impressive. We find it even more amazing and praiseworthy that the Chinese include the powerful 120 watt power supply directly with their 11T Pro. In times when some manufacturers do not even include a power supply (see Apple), this is anything but a matter of course. Thus, you already get the full charging power ex-works and do not have to buy it separately. Of course, there is a bit of skepticism about the huge wattage. After all, this can be harmful for one or the other battery. Xiaomi itself claims that the fast charging technology should not change the battery’s longevity. We are curious whether this really remains the case in the long run.
Saturated performance under the hood
But not only the battery performance of the Xiaomi 11T Pro is impressive. Thanks to the modern Snapdragon 888, there is also plenty of CPU power. Already available smartphones equipped with Qualcomm’s current flagship clearly show that the chip manufactured in a 5 nm process even meets the demands of power users. In addition to the high-performance chip technology, the 8 GB working memory in the basic version should ensure that everything runs smoothly. The basic version with 128 GB might not offer enough storage for some users. Then you can reach for the slightly better equipped variant with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage space.
Nice display and great camera
It is already clear at first glance that you are in the upper class with the Xiaomi 11T Pro. A 6.67-inch AMOLED display not only ensures high-contrast and colorful screen content. Thanks to a 120 Hz refresh rate, moving images are always rendered super smoothly. Xiaomi uses the latest Corning Gorilla Glass Victus so that you do not have to worry about the display’s longevity.
The camera specs also read very well. For example, the 11T Pro has a triple camera, which, in addition to the main camera (108 MP), has an ultra-wide-angle (8 MP) and tele-macro lens (5 MP). Xiaomi offers “Cinemagic” on the software side so that you can create high-quality pictures and videos with the existing hardware. This software offers you extensive customization options and gets the most out of the pictures and videos.
Price and Availability
It won’t be long before the smartphone world can enjoy Xiaomi’s new flagship. Thus, the Xiaomi 11T Pro is scheduled to be released in blue, gray and white colors on October 5. For a discounted price of $549, you can already secure the promising smartphone in the basic version (8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage). The other versions are available at prices of $649 (8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage) and $699 (12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage).
