ARCTIC air cooler Freezer i35 A-RGB and Freezer A35 A-RGB presented

The PC cooler experts from ARCTIC have introduced two new air coolers with the Freezer i35 A-RGB and Freezer A35 A-RGB. They are equipped with an efficient 120 mm P-Fan and are said to feature strong cooling performance, high running smoothness and special durability.

The latest member of ARCTIC’s Freezer series is now available in two versions for the latest AMD or Intel processors, also supporting the brand new Intel LGA1700 socket CPUs. Thanks to its compact dimensions of 133 x 91 mm, the Freezer i35 A-RGB / Freezer A35 A-RGB guarantees virtually unlimited RAM compatibility. The adapted mounting system with two spring-loaded screws is easy to handle and enables an even contact pressure.

The performance is also convincing. Four direct-touch heatpipes and an improved fin-stack design provide excellent heat transfer from the CPU into the heatsink. In combination with the award-winning P-fan and the included MX-5 Ultimate Performance Paste, optimal heat dissipation is achieved.

There are no technical differences between the variants. The Freezer A35 A-RGB is designed for AMD’s AM4 socket, while the Freezer i35 A-RGB is suitable for Intel’s 2066, 2011(-3), 1155, 1151, 1150, 1200 and 1700 sockets.

ARGB lighting and technical specifications

Customizable RGB lighting is brought to both models, with 12 digital A-RGB LEDs built into the fan hub. These can be controlled independently, allowing for the iconic rainbow effect as well as nearly infinite other lighting options.

The fan can be connected directly via a 5V 3-pin RGB header on the motherboard and is compatible with leading motherboard manufacturers’ software and connectors. Alternatively, the cooler can also be illuminated via an external controller and synchronized with the lighting of other hardware.
