HYTE, a brand of iBUYPOWER, recently introduced its first all-in-one liquid cooler, the THICC Q60. The cooler differs from industry standards with its large LCD display, said to be the largest in a liquid cooler.
Unique features and design
The most striking feature of the THICC Q60 is its ultra-thin 5-inch, 720 x 1280 resolution IPS display mounted on the cooler’s water block. A 42-pixel qRGB array behind the screen’s back cover provides ambient light. Both elements can be customized via HYTE’s Nexus software, allowing users to add their personal touch.
Power and efficiency
The THICC Q60 is equipped with a large radiator that measures 120 x 288 x 52 mm, making it one of the thickest AIOs on the market. Two harmonic pumps in the radiator provide enough power to move coolant through the THICC Q60 for optimal system performance. HYTE has also introduced two new 120 x 120 x 32 mm THICC FT12 fans that connect to the radiator via Nexus Link Type-M magnetic couplings.
THICC FT12 fans
The FT12 fans have a speed range of 500 to 2,000 rpm and offer a zero-speed feature for absolute silence when needed. They are made of liquid crystal polymer (LCP) and offer a stiffer design for higher tolerance and better performance. Each FT12 fan has a thermal sensor that measures air temperature and fan orientation and reports back to Nexus.
Availability and Price
The THICC Q60 is expected to be available worldwide in September 2023 for $299.99 USD. The THICC FT12 fans are expected to be available worldwide in September 2023 for $79.99 USD. Both products will be on display in the HYTE/iBUYPOWR suite during Computex 2023.
