ASUS has a new treat in store for friends of fast wireless Internet connections. The ASUS RT-AXE7800 is a brand-new router that wants to score with WiFi 6E and an impressive speed of up to 7,800 Mbps. The manufacturer promises maximum network stability even with many connected devices.
ASUS RT-AXE7800 promises stable high-speed Internet
The ASUS RT-AXE7800 comes in an eye-catching design, which is reminiscent of a spaceship. The six antennas in particular are likely to cause quite a stir. Of course, they are not only intended for optical purposes, but also for fast and, above all, stable Internet. Thanks to WiFi 6E, which creates seven additional high-speed channels with 160 MHz, ASUS promises blazingly fast Internet speeds in the multi-gigabit range. On top of that, they want to keep the Internet connections as stable as possible. The router is equipped with the latest technology in the form of a 1.7 GHz quad-core CPU from Broadcom. This relies on wireless connections in the brand-new 6 GHz band. Thus, the router should also be able to cope with the strict requirements of the home office or even smaller companies.

ASUS RT-AXE7800 promises plenty of security
The new ASUS RT-AXE7800 is said to make it easy for users to set up their own comprehensive wireless network. Especially if you want to cover multiple floors, the support of the in-house ASUS AiMesh technology is of great advantage. This allows the WiFi 6E router to be easily connected to other routers that also support the technology. In times of increasing cyber risks, ASUS has of course also thought about security. This is where Safe Browsing comes into play, for example. This feature helps block inappropriate content like spam via a simple click of the mouse button. As a result, the router independently filters the content that arrives at your computer or smartphone.
For parents who want to protect their children from inappropriate content, this is certainly worth its weight in gold. They should also get more control over their offspring’s online activities thanks to the improved parental controls. Time limits for daily Internet use can be set here, for example. Furthermore, the company offers security features like AiProtection Pro. This is supposed to protect your devices from threats from the Internet. And even on the go, your devices should be able to benefit from the protection provided by ASUS.
The Instant Guard mobile app in particular promises anonymity and security on the go with its Virtual Private Network (VPN). The VPN Fusion feature sounds particularly exciting. Here, several devices in different tunnels can be connected to the VPN at once. This should even be possible with connected devices that do not offer VPN software. Gamers who want to connect their gaming console to the VPN, for example, should be especially happy about this. The corresponding settings can be made via the ASUS Router Mobile app. Optionally, you should also be able to use the browser application.
