Blaupunkt Henri: 20 inch e-folding bike officially presented

The traditional manufacturer has introduced the Blaupunkt Henri, a new foldable e-bike which comes in a sporty design with a frame size of 20 inches. Typical of Blaupunkt, Henri scores with an intelligent quick-release mechanism including a folding magnetic lock. Pedals and handlebars can also be folded.

With the Blaupunkt Henri, the manufacturer presents its sportiest folding e-bike to date, which can be stored quickly and easily, as well as space-saving, thanks to an intelligent quick-release mechanism.

According to the manufacturer, high-quality Tektro disc brakes, a 6-speed Shimano SIS gearshift and comfortable 2.125 tires are used. The pedal assistance up to 25 km/h can be comfortably adjusted in three stages directly via the LCD bike computer installed on the handlebars. The support of the rear wheel motor with 50 nm torque can also be completely deactivated if desired.

Furthermore, the bike computer informs about the speed, battery level, elapsed riding time, among other things. Also, the distance traveled in kilometers is displayed and also the control of the lighting is done directly through the computer.

70 km range

A Li-ion battery (with 36 V/ 10.5 Ah) is used in the Henri, which is fully charged in 4 to 6 hours and should bring it to a range of up to 70 kilometers. Depending on the load, riding style and area of use.

For added convenience, the battery can also be easily removed and is also lockable, which is supposed to provide more security. Despite this, the Blaupunkt Henri only comes in at a weight of around 21 kg, while it can be loaded up to 120 kg.

The scope of delivery also includes all accessories to make the e-folding bike fit for road use. These include, for example, removable mudguards, a stand, as well as an LED headlight with integrated reflector and an LED rear light for mounting on the seat post, as well as a rear reflector.
