Elgato is releasing its esteemed Key Light technology in wearable form. The new Elgato Key Light Mini is a portable edge-lit LED panel that offers multi-layer diffusion and is powered by a rechargeable battery.

Measuring only 15 cm x 10 cm and weighing 300 grams, the Key Light Mini fits comfortably in any backpack. The manufacturer relies on a robust construction including a metal frame and high-quality OSRAM LEDs to provide content creators with successful lighting on the go, even under adverse conditions.

The smart, 4,000 mAh battery can be quickly recharged and provides up to 2 hours of runtime at 100 percent brightness or 4 hours at 50 percent brightness on a single charge. When plugged into a wall outlet, bypass mode can be activated to conserve battery power over the long term.

800 lumens brightness

At the maximum, the Elgato Key Light Mini comes up with a brightness of 800 lumens. At the same time, the lighting is fully dimmable and the color temperature is adjustable. The color temperature range can be adjusted between 2,900 K and 7,000 K for ideal illumination indoors and outdoors.

Lighting settings can be adjusted wirelessly via controls on the device or when connected to a Wi-Fi network via the Elgato Control Center app for iPhone, Android, Mac or PC. In the studio, direct integration with Elgato Stream Deck enables one-touch control of brightness and color.

Thanks to a 1/4″ thread and a magnetic back, Key Light Mini can be integrated into any setup, whether it’s a camera, tripod or metal surface. This makes Key Light Mini ideal for TikTok and Instagram creators, vloggers, streamers, or anyone who wants to present themselves in the best light in video conferencing apps like Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
