HANNspree Zeus 2: New 13.3 inch tablet launched

With the HANNspree Zeus 2, the display specialist has introduced a new version of the successful 13.3-inch tablet. Especially performance and storage space are said to have improved a lot compared to the first model, while an optionally available rugged cover is also available.

HANNspree Zeus 2: With 13.3 inches and touch operation

The HANNspree Zeus 2 tablet’s 13.3-inch display offers a larger screen area than most tablets, which the manufacturer claims will result in “improved viewing of emails, websites, applications, documents, multimedia content and games.”

Also included are modern touchscreen technologies that also allow fingertip operation. The 10-point capacitive display supports multi-gesture touch and swipe control, allowing users to tap, drag and swipe with precision.

The Zeus 2 uses an IPS panel with a Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels for the display. Thanks to the installed Mediatek MT8183 octa-core processor with onboard graphics and 4 GB of working memory, the tablet should meet all requirements. Android 10 is used as the operating system. Internally, 64 GB of storage is available, which can be expanded by up to 128 GB via microSD card.

USB-C and Bluetooth 5.0

In terms of connectivity, both dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n+ac (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) and Bluetooth 5.0 LE are available to connect wirelessly with compatible devices. The USB Type-C interface includes the charging function and can also be used as a connection to other devices. The connection to a TV or monitor is made via mini-HDMI.

HANNspree’s Zeus 2 is equipped with two cameras, each with a resolution of 5 megapixels. A flip case is also included, which protects against dust and scratches thanks to the soft inner lining. A rugged case is also available as an option.

Price and availability

The new HANNspree Zeus 2 tablet is available in stores now. The manufacturer’s MSRP is 339.00 euros, and the matching HANNspree Rugged Case is available starting at 52.70 euros.
